I am loving all the products I got in the Soap Box! I love them all as they are so moisturizing but mostly the Cow Lick for hair as it's been handy this summer so far as it's great for those humid days.
I really like these soaps. They are good clean simple ingredients. They feel great on the skin, and I dont like fragrance so the light scents are great for me. I hope jklm continues to make them and provide them at a great price. Although I was upset my soap holder fell in the shower and broke. I was hoping it be a little more durable but oh well. Thank you for the great product. In a world where there are lots of chemicals and contaminants you have a good clean product.
I have a mast-cell disorder which causes me to react as if allergic to a variety of substances, both artificial (which eliminates a lot of mainstream personal care products) and natural (which tends to eliminate the rest). I have actually written to major cosmetic companies to ask them "What do you sell that does NOT contain..." with a list of about 15 common ingredients that make me break out, wheeze, or suffer spontaneous bleeding (not fun). Only one of those companies ever responded usefully, and all they sell that I'm not allergic to is... like... face masks and toner and 'anti-ageing-serum'..... like, frivolous extra stuff, not the basics of a personal care and hygeine routine. It's like shopping for pants that fit and all you can find are... tiaras and earrings. Like, cool, but I need PANTS.
Anyway... Even most small-batch soap-makers use things like lanolin, jojoba, and shea butter, which are all on my no-list, so I have really been struggling... and itching a lot... to figure out what the heck I can USE safely, and then I ran across JKLM, where *everything* is safe for me to use and *nothing* is off-limits, (except the black-pepper blends) and I am just ecstatic!
It would be enough to just not-hurt-me at this stage, but to have products that actively feel luxurious and special is a wonderful bonus. And for all the ingredients lists to be SHORT and SIMPLE and WELL LABELED is amazing.
THIS is what accessibility looks like!
This means that if I *do* have a reaction to one of these products at some point, I will easily be able to figure out WHY and then avoid that ingredient again, instead of having yet another mystery to add to the pile.
And to answer my own pre-purchase question:
No, the cats haven't tried to lick me to death. Apparently these products do not smell like 'food' to them. :-D

Such a cute gift set. Loved all the products. Except I noticed that for my acne prone skin, the marrow based products made me break out a bit, but the tallow based ones did not! Love the soaps, the lip balms. The packaging was super cute, this would make an amazing gift for anyone who is looking to clean up their beauty routine.
