With JKLM Farm Sun Cream, your can luxuriate in all of the skin-nourishment and hydration that organic, grass-fed beef tallow naturally provides AND spend some nice time outdoors without looking like the crypt keeper for the next month!

This is a mineral Sun Cream that uses zinc oxide as its active ingredient. Fun fact - zinc oxide's other primary use: white pigment. Because of this, we've developed a tinted version for those with darker complexions (using organic cacao powder because, girl, natural). Which should I choose, you ask? Well, there are TONS of skin tone scales out there, but regardless of which one you're looking at, if your skin falls somewhere in the lighter half of the scale, then the untinted is for you. If your skin is somewhere in the darker half, you'll want the tinted. Another demographic that may prefer the tinted version (and I'll thank my mother for this observation) are those with wrinkles. Creams can be tricky to smooth out of deep wrinkles and the untinted version can actually highlight them. So for those who don't wish to sunbathe with a wrinkle road map on their face, the tinted version'll be for you.

Proper use: Apply the Sun Cream in a thin, even layer. Only the thinnest layer is necessary for full efficacy. Applying too much does NOT equal more protection. If the cream leaves a white/light cast, that's the indication that you've applied too much. Either gently remove the excess with a paper towel or spread it out over a larger swath of skin until it's no longer clockable.

This Sun Cream is waterproof, so you can sweat and swim all you want to. However, an aggressive post-swim toweling off may necessitate a reapplication.

How long before general reapplication is necessary? This Cream is 20% zinc oxide, and the standard formula is 20 x however long you can be in the sun before starting to singe (or 2 hours. Whichever comes first). Also, you know your skin better than I do. Err on the side of caution until you get a sense of how it works with your particular skin type. And, I'm not your mama. If you only apply it once and sit in the sun for the entire day, don't tell me it's the Sun Cream's fault that you're now a piece of toast. Capiche?

And, as always -
No Dyes
No Fragrances
No Chemicals
No Preservatives
