How have I been making bars of soap for this long and not yet offered soap dishes!? You know - those oft overlooked, always undervalued vessels that delicately cradle those wet bars in tender repose, far above the soapy water run-off as it gently accumulates beneath; sparing you, (us, the world,) from that water-logged, soap-squish nightmare scenario.

But where was I to start? I suppose I could buy a soap dish off Amazon, make a silicone mold of it, cast it in concrete, and market it as my own (I see you, other soap dish "makers"). No sir and/or ma'am. These soap dishes are 100% jklm farm originals. I used BOTH of my woodworking skills to make the models, made the silicone negatives from those, cleaned 'em up, filled 'em with concrete, patiently waited, unmolded, sanded, sanded, sanded, waited some more (albeit less patiently this time), sealed, sealed, sealed, and voila! Ten(ish) days later - soap dishes!

They're equal parts rustic and modern. Art and craft. They're simple yet clever. Utilitarian yet decorative. They're everything you never knew you would want in a soap dish!

And the price! $10!? For a statement piece!? Okay, maybe not "statement", but a sentence piece, for sure (and a run-on one, at that). And why stop at one? Get a bunch! You know your friends are just gonna steal 'em. AND, if you let me do the choosing, they're only $8! Further Notes: These soap dishes are 3 1/2" square by 1/2" tall, weight just under 5 ounces, and are designed to perfectly fit our bar soaps (round or rectangular).
Concrete is an imperfect medium - there will be small air bubbles and "imperfections" which I find give the dishes their austere, brutalist character. If you want factory-made perfect, these ain't for you.
To clean - they'll already be covered in soap, so just add warm water and a scrub brush. Simple!
The listing says 3-10 days processing time. If I have them in stock, they'll ship out in three days (max). If not, it means that I'm making them and they'll ship out closer to day ten.
